Open Engagement | April 17-19, 2015
Open Engagement is an international conference and platform to support socially engaged art. The conference highlights the work of transdisciplinary artists, activists, students, scholars, community members, and organizations. The conference will be held in Pittsburgh for the first time, April 17-April 19th 2015. Attendance is free, but you must register.
18th Annual Art All Night | April 25-26, 2015
No fees. No jury. No censorship. Everyone is invited to submit one piece of artwork to be included in Art All Night. Register.
Public Art 101 | May 2, 2015
Public Art 101 is a day-long workshop for artists ready to learn more about how to work in the public realm. Through this workshop, artists will gain the critical information they need to propose and complete public art projects. Register.
ArtAttack Pittsburgh | May 13, June 10 and July 15, 2015
ArtAttack Pittsburgh is a live competitive painting event held monthly at the Rex Theater in the South Side. Painters create the best work they can across three 30 minute rounds of live painting. The audience votes for the winners of each round, thus choosing the top two winners of each event.  Those two winners will move on the the Championship round in November. Register to compete.

The Office of Public Art invites artists of all disciplines, experience, and career levels to develop a portfolio on the Pittsburgh Artist Registry.  There is no cost for artists to join the registry, and no cost to browse the portfolios.  The registry is available to all visual, performing, and literary artists in the Pittsburgh region. Join.
Idea Furnace | Ongoing
Pittsburgh Glass Center (PGC) is looking for non-glass artists with designs that they would like to see realized in glass. Once a month, PGC will invite one artist into the studio to discuss their design ideas, learn about the glass making process and watch the design come to life. Apply.
